The AutoPot Easy2Grow is a gravity-fed, self-watering system that feeds two plants per tray with zero electricity, zero pumps, and zero timers. The AQUAvalve5 fills each tray to a 1" depth, then shuts off until the plants drink it dry, creating a natural wet/dry cycle without any input from you. Each tray has its own valve, so a thirsty pair of plants gets refilled on a different schedule than a slower-growing pair on the next tray over. Start with a 2-pot kit and expand to 100 pots by adding extension modules to the same reservoir line.

Hand watering vs. the Easy2Grow
Hand watering
  • Water once or twice a day, every day, no days off
  • Overwatering and underwatering are constant guesswork
  • Excess water runs off the top, carrying nutrients with it
  • A few days away means asking someone else to water
  • Every pot gets the same pour on the same schedule
  • You are the irrigation system, and you never get a day off
AutoPot Easy2Grow
  • Fill the reservoir and walk away for a week or more
  • The AQUAvalve5 fills to 1", shuts off, and reopens only when plants are ready
  • Bottom-fed, zero runoff: plants absorb every drop through the medium
  • Go on vacation with nothing to arrange
  • Each tray has its own valve, so fast and slow growers stay on separate schedules
  • Gravity does the work: no electricity, no pumps, no timers, no daily routine
What makes the Easy2Grow work

AQUAvalve5 with 66% larger inlet 5mm bore

The dual-float valve opens to fill the tray to 1" and shuts off until plants consume the supply. The upgraded 5mm inlet on the AQUAvalve5 handles thicker nutrient solutions and reduces clogging compared to the older AQUAvalve4.

PotSocks and root control included

Each pot ships with a PotSock on the base and a Root Control Sheet. These keep roots from growing into the valve chamber, which is the most common cause of AQUAvalve malfunctions in long-running grows.

Built-in wet/dry cycle

Plants drink from the tray, the medium dries down, and the valve reopens. This mimics natural rainfall patterns and prevents the root rot that comes from constant saturation.

Works with soil, coco, or hydro media

Fill pots with coco/perlite (50/50 is the most popular mix), soil with perlite, or clay pebbles. Add a layer of perlite or an AirBase at the bottom for better aeration.

Expand anytime with extension modules

Add 2 more pots with a single easy2grow extension kit. Each extension includes its own tray, AQUAvalve5, pots, and PotSocks. Connect via tee connector to the existing line.

Up to 50% less water and nutrient use Zero runoff

Bottom-feeding means plants pull water up through the medium. Nothing drains out, and nothing evaporates from overhead watering. Your nutrient mix goes further.

How the system works

1

Position the reservoir

Place the 12.4-gallon tank on a stand or shelf at least 6" above the highest AQUAvalve5. Attach the inline filter to the outlet and run 3/8" tubing down to your trays.

2

Fill pots and place them in the tray

Add a 1" layer of perlite (or an AirBase) to the bottom of each pot, then fill with your chosen medium. Place PotSocks on the base of each pot to keep roots from reaching the valve. Set pots in the tray.

3

Hand-water for the first 7 to 10 days

Water plants from the top by hand until roots are established and can wick from below. Keep the system valve turned off during this period. Once the medium starts drying out quickly, the roots are ready.

4

Turn on and walk away

Open the inline tap, fill the reservoir with water and nutrients, and the AQUAvalve5 takes over. Check your reservoir level and filter once a week. That is your entire maintenance routine.

Everything in the 2-pot starter kit
Included with every kit
  • 1x 12.4-gallon reservoir with lid
  • 1x Easy2Grow 2-pot tray and lid
  • 2x square pots (2.2 gal or 3.9 gal, your choice)
  • 1x AQUAvalve5
  • 1x 3/8" golf filter kit, 1x inline tap, 1x grommet
  • 5 ft of 3/8" black pipe, 2x Root Control Sheets, 2x PotSocks
Options and add-ons
  • Pot size: 2.2 gallon (herbs, compact plants) or 3.9 gallon (larger, bushier plants)
  • Expand: Easy2Grow extension modules add 2 pots per module to the same line
  • Optional: AirBases replace perlite layer for better aeration, reservoir stand elevates the tank
Not sure which pot size to choose? The 3.9-gallon is the most popular for indoor growing because it gives roots more room. The 2.2-gallon works well for herbs, lettuce, and compact varieties where you want to keep plants short. Call or email us: 716-217-0353 / [email protected]
Frequently asked questions
No. You connect a tube from the reservoir to the tray, drop the AQUAvalve5 into its seat, and set the pots on top. The two critical steps are making sure the reservoir sits at least 6" above the highest valve so gravity can do its job, and that the tray is level. AutoPot includes written instructions, and we have a setup guide PDF linked above.
The AQUAvalve5 with its larger 5mm inlet handles liquid organic nutrients much better than the older valve. AutoPot now recommends organic nutrients as compatible with AQUAvalve5 systems. That said, heavy organic formulas can still produce biofilm in tubing and reservoirs over time. If you run organics, plan to clean the reservoir, tubing, and valve between cycles. Mineral-based nutrients are the lowest-maintenance option.
It depends on plant size, temperature, and growth stage. Two small plants in veg might go over a week on a single 12.4-gallon fill. Large plants in full flower will drink much faster, especially in a warm room. Check the level once a week at minimum and adjust from there. If you find yourself refilling constantly, consider adding a FlexiTank (25 gal or larger) to extend the time between fills.
A 50/50 mix of coco coir and perlite is the most popular choice because coco wicks water up from the tray efficiently. Soil with 30 to 50% perlite mixed in also works. Put a 1" layer of perlite or an AirBase at the bottom of each pot before adding your mix. This improves airflow to roots and helps the wet/dry cycle work properly. Avoid dense, compacted soils that do not wick well.
First, check that the tray is level. Even a small tilt can prevent the float from seating properly. Second, inspect the valve for debris, salt buildup, or root material. Remove it, rinse it under running water, and check that both floats move freely. Third, make sure the PotSocks are in place so roots have not grown down into the valve chamber. If you are still having trouble, call us at 716-217-0353 and we can walk through it with you.
Yes. All AutoPot systems with AQUAvalve5 use the same 3/8" tubing and fittings, so you can run Easy2Grow trays alongside 1Pot, XL, or GeoPot modules on the same reservoir line. Each module has its own valve, so they operate independently even when sharing a water supply.

Road of Bones was just what I needed!!!
Format: Kindle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 from me! The Road of Bones Silla Nordvig is running for her life from the Queen’s assassin and the King’s Claws (The Klaernar) but she doesn’t know why. She and her father were attacked by warriors on the road to home where he was killed, he admitted he wasn’t her true father, but that’s about all he could say before he died in her arms. Now, Silla has joined the Bloodaxe Crew, trying to make her way north on the Road of Bones to safety. The Road of Bones by Demi Winters is a Romantasy for those who absolutely love some romance with their fantasy. It’s Vikings and warriors at their finest. I felt the book was a little bit of a slow start, although there WAS action from the first chapter. But as soon as Silla realized she had to run for her life, the action was non stop. The plot was so well done, the story just built upon itself, and we learned more and more about Silla as her memories returned and her assassin got closer. As we discovered more about Silla, we learned more about the Bloodaxe Crew. Both Silla and the Bloodaxe Crew (each member) have such great back stories. Silla is such a well fleshed out character. We see her as a simple kitchen maid who has little self-esteem, but longs for the freedom to be herself, and we grow with her into a woman that knows herself and is ready for just about anything. She goes through so much on her journey on the Road of Bones and we are there with her for every minute. We get to see her fall in love, and we see her when she goes through betrayal. The way she reacts internally shows just how much she grew throughout her journey. The supporting characters, Jonas, Ilias, Hekla, and Rey were all extremely important to Silla’s story in his or her own way, and made the book all that much more rich and layered. Jonas seemed to have become enthralled with Silla, but things happen there that cause serious trauma. Hekla is a great friend to Silla and watching that relationship flourish was simply a joy, and Silla was able to come into her own as a warrior through Hekla’s tutelage (with Rey’s help). And, Rey, we can never forget about Rey…he was terrifying to Silla in the beginning, but somewhere he turns into a pillar of strength for her and I, for one, cannot wait to see what happens with that relationship. In the end, I consider Road of Bones to be a work of art. If you are looking for a Viking Romantasy that is fun, a little dark, and absolutely heartbreaking, this should be your next read.

I'm done
Format: Kindle
I survived. I made it through the book! This is a very slow book. Like... incredibly slow. I get that it's world building, but there also needs to be a sense that this world is worth caring about. The good side is that the author has lovely writing. And the audio book reader is fantastic. But the story itself is paced incredibly slowly and without the depth needed to care about the characters or world. I fell asleep a few times with the beautiful reader and lovely words... telling a story I just wasn't interested in The downside is that Silla is one of the most annoying main characters. She is weak and naive, with essentially no backstory. She's traveled all over with her father but apparently cooking and bread are her only skills. No worldliness. No experience with men or, well friends at all. Yet on the flip side she's able to learn fighting skills in a few weeks and starts outright flirting quite detailed within a few days. So is she a naive weak maiden or a hidden temptress warrior? No idea. Not sure she knows either. The other character backstories are also quite shallow. Like a few lines were written and that's all that needs to be said. But...it is lovely writing. I bought the 2nd book at the same time that I bought the first. I honestly have no desire to read the 2nd but curiosity has me wondering if it actually gets to storytelling.

Wolves in disguise, magic, and political intrigue!
Format: Audiobook
📖 The Road of Bones by Demi Winters Rating: ⭐⭐⭐¾ (3.75/5) This book had me at "let them think us lambs, when truly, we are wolves." The Road of Bones delivers on atmosphere and world-building, though I was initially drawn in by promises of fantasy romance with a strong female lead. What I got instead was a first book that's laying serious groundwork - heavy on political intrigue and lighter on the romance than I expected. Silla Nordvig's journey along the thousand-mile Road of Bones is genuinely compelling. Fleeing after her father's murder with the queen's assassins on her tail, she's constantly testing her limits. The Viking-inspired setting feels fresh, and the magic system stands out as something I haven't seen before. When the Wolf tells her, "Careful, Sunshine. The sharp part bites," I couldn't help but smile at their developing dynamic. The pacing occasionally stumbles, but the character development keeps things moving. Silla's transformation from hunted to hunter unfolds beautifully against the backdrop of political machinations. The emotional moments hit hard, especially as she discovers her own strength in a world determined to break her. For a first book in a series, it establishes a solid foundation, though I wish the romance elements weren't quite so slow-burn. If you're looking for immediate romantic payoff, you might be disappointed, but if you enjoy watching characters and worlds unfold with patience, you'll find plenty to love here. 📦 What to Expect ✨ Epic Fantasy 💖 Slow Burn Romance 🔥 Grumpy/Sunshine Dynamic 🤯 Complex Politics & Power Struggles 💔 Deep Emotional Growth 🦴 Magical Beasts or Sentient Magic ⚔️ A Lead Who Fights for More Than Survival 📚 Book Tags Keywords: Dark Fantasy, Magic, Romance, Political Intrigue, Found Family, Survival, War Tropes: Grumpy/Sunshine, Enemies to Reluctant Allies, Found Family, Mentor/Protegé, Slow Burn, Power Couple Triggers: Slavery, Violence, War Themes, Grooming (discussed), Sexual Assault (mentioned, not shown), Emotional Abuse, PTSD 🎯 Final Thoughts If you're in it for the long haul and appreciate a fantasy that takes its time building something meaningful, The Road of Bones is worth the journey. Just know you're signing up for a series that's just beginning to show its teeth.

Addicting!
Format: Kindle
I could not stop reading. It was so refreshing to have a series start so completely different than most fated mates/fantasy academy rh I’ve been reading. From the desert scenery to the magic and feeding plus the psychological trauma the characters are there to deal with. Pandora is absolutely adorable and I totally relate to hiding behind my hair. I love that she’s literally the most scary type of demon but it’s not the usual “badass mc” persona (which I do love a badass that can fend for herself and kick ass from the start but it was a nice change of pace). I’m not usually a big fan of bully within the harem but each character has their reasons for their actions and also conflicting feelings about them. I adore Dex and Reed! Complete opposites but their personalities and inner monologues made them instant favs. I can’t wait to see the character growth with the guys and continued strength for Pandora. The captivating characters and references to the Fate Hallow series added so much depth and now I need another reread while I wait for book 2. The concept of magic and the unique feeding habits of the demon characters were intriguing. I can't wait for the next book to continue this thrilling journey. In summary, this book is a must-read for fantasy and magic academy rh fans. With its enchanting characters, nods to the Fate Hallow series, and imaginative concepts, it offers an immersive reading experience that hwill leave you craving for more.

Best academy I've read this year
Format: Kindle
I need a few things when it comes to a first book of a PNR romance series 1-Good world building (which this totally did) 2-An FMC I can root for (oh hell yes, Pandora is someone I can cheer for) 3-Good drama (can you say GROVEL BOYS!) 4-Enough story to make you feel like you really read something with meat (you saw this book is like 600 pages, yeah?) 5-A hook at the end so I want more! (please, Lyra, gimmie more?!? I need more!!) Be aware this book is a slow burn, but damn do I feel like there'll be some big payoff when it finally happens. Who doesn't like the buildup?
